Over 85 years of imaging the world
Canon’s expertise in imaging began with optics. The company was established in Tokyo in 1937 to produce precision cameras, and it later applied the same command of light, image and engineering to office and production printing. Its printing portfolio now covers multifunction office devices, inkjet and laser printers, and professional production print systems. Throughout its history, Canon has been guided by the philosophy of Kyosei, meaning living and working together for the common good. That principle is reflected in the durability, consistency and long-term support that organisations rely on.
“Our corporate philosophy of Kyosei means all people, regardless of race, religion or culture, harmoniously living and working together into the future. We don’t just say these words, we use them as the cornerstone of everything that we do.”
